About
Mercer & Moon is a New York studio making storybook-inspired prints for the rooms small humans grow up in. Every piece is curated, printed to order, and built to outlast the nursery — designed by the studio, drawn by hand, and shipped flat on cotton-rag watercolor paper.
The studio was founded on a small premise: the books on a child's shelf — Eloise, Madeline, The Lorax, the worn copies passed from one bedtime to the next — deserve to be on the walls too. Not in the form of licensed merchandise, but as quiet, original work that nods to the worlds the books built. Art with the same patience and craft you'd give an adult room, made instead for the room that matters first.
Each print is made-to-order at the studio's New York production partner using a giclée process — fine-art inkjet printing on 100% cotton-rag cold-press watercolor paper. The paper has a soft, etching-like texture that catches light the way an original work on paper does, not the way a screen does. Pigment inks rated to last between one hundred and two hundred years in good conditions. Frames, when added at checkout, are solid wood, matte-finished, and assembled by hand.
